Long-eared Owl (Asio otus) Bufo-pequeno

One of the few species of owl that have a distinct migration, Long-eared Owls are more likely to be seen in Portugal during the winter months when they are widespread but scarce. Often gathers where habitat is suitable, (dense foliage), in roosts of 10 to 20 individuals, and is active at dawn, dusk and during the night.
