Your stay in Portugal is hosted at Quinta do Barranco da Estrada, (www.paradiseinportugal.com), a small ten bedroomed family-run lodge on the shores of the vast Santa Clara lake. The Lodge is in the middle of nowhere, very peaceful, surrounded by its own gardens and, with a complete absence of any traffic noise at all, is a real break from the hustle and bustle with a friendly, helpful atmosphere.
Good food, a varied wine list and enervating conversation at lunch and dinner counterbalance the peace and quiet during the day, and there is massage on site as well as a professional birdwatching guide with over 20 years experience of southern Portugal.
For the active, swimming, boating, bicycling and walking are always on offer - but mostly it's all about birding!
There can be daily outings by car or relaxed walks in the vicinity during your stay, and prices vary on the travelling required, and the time of year of your stay. The prices below exclude travel to the Quinta, but we can pick you up from either Faro or Lisbon airports if you don't want to hire a car.

Please note that the prices below are all for 2 people sharing a room; thus the price per person in option 1 below would be 762.50 euros.
